Worn out
Not only have I worn out the tyres, I also worn out the soles of my crocs.
Tyres changed, rims changes and I brush the curb within 30mins after the rims are changed. My dad shakes head and chided me a lil. Oh well, talk abt heng suay eh?
Now I really need a new shoe! I slipped on the current pair of crocs like nobody's business. After the shopping sometime back, I fell head over heels with that Adidas pumps. It was super comfy but they didn't carry my size and I was told the largest they had was size 7! Just a size larger and I would see myself at the cashier.
After ploughing through the World Widest Web, I found another pair of nice pumps. Hopefully they have it at the stores. White/black?

I tried Ked's pumps but it just wouldn't fit. So I guess its time to support 3 stripes and put the crocodile to sleep. At least for a while..
~~~~~~~~~~
Work is keeping us busy till CNY and my dad is considering to start work a early as possible unlike the one week break most local firms would take. But I'm loving each day though.
The downside is I have no time for shopping! Neither can I blade. Oh well, time management don't apply when u work, its the priorities that work!
Its Feb and Fab!
How time flies! January flashed past me unknowingly. Until I tore the carpark coupon yesterday and realised that its alrdy Feb!This month of the year is smth to rejoice about because...its CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!! The time we meet the close few for a warm gathering, the many bak kwas and pineapple tarts and not forgetting the 'angpows'.This year feels slightly different. Or rather, I want to feel different. I chopped the tresses last week thanks to SL's push but I still look the same I guess. I shopped like mad within short span of hours though I didn't buy plenty of things. Retail therapy feels OH SO GOOD! On the sidenote, I can't go shopping this weekend cus we have a heap of things to complete before CNY else I will have no bak kwas to eat.
Murderer
I'm still a very green driver. If you ask me how's driving so far, I'll tell you I pretty enjoy it..TILL YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!
I still get the goosebumps whenever I think of it. Not sure if I am suay or the victim.
This was what happened...
Was on the way to KL yest morning, and it started off with a 2 hours+ jam (can you imagine 2 lanes of jam becoming 4 lanes of major jam??). Not to mention that I'm the driver and my passengers started dozing off. If you havent know me enough, I usually sleep before I reach the custom if I'm the passenger. So I was a rather grumpy driver in the jam.
Cleared custom ard 10+ and hungrily made our way to Yong Peng for lunch. ]
Left Yong Peng telling my dad that I can take the wheels all the way to KL. I exited the toll and accelerated to 110km/h and THIS WAS THE MOMENT I WILL NEVER FORGET!!!!!!!!!!!GOODNESS!!!!! I almost stopped breathing! Everything happened toooooooooooo fast! A monkey suddenly jumped out of nowhere and appeared in front of my car. He saw my car coming and panic (with his face staring at my direction). I quickly glanced my rear mirror and there's a lorry close behind. I cannot E brake else 4 lives at risk (dun ask me why I could think of such things). It was too near me but I can't really tell the distance. I only managed to brake a little but "BUMP!!! *followed by bones crushing sound*" It felt like I went through the hump. OMG, I could feel the heat immediately! I SERIOUSLY NVR FELT SO GUILTY LIKE THIS!!!
During the freak episode, I saw the monkey and shouted "MONKEY!!!" pretty loudly. Then all the bone crushing thing happened. My dad calmly ask, "pumpkin? Why the road got pumpkin?" WA LAO EH, there I was feeling the jitters, yet he still don't know what happened. My bro explained to him in detail and my parents was like 'chua sai' with us la.
While driving, I was thinking whether its tail was somewhere hanging between the bumper or the brain like smashed tofu or the blood splattered everywhere. It was totally ripping my brain apart! We stopped over at Ayer Keroh for toilet and from the side, I saw the bumper slightly distorted. I saw some remnants of its hair and never dared looked at the bumper anymore.
This kind of 'entertaining' news travel fast. As soon as we reach the temple, most of them know what happened. They were still laughing at me and examining the impact of the accident. They still say lucky small monkey only, if not bigger one will see it fly faraway. Worst if its wild boar, cus the whole bonner sure chui.
But the impact was still quite great I think. I heard them saying a small part of the bumper cracked and it was dent in quite badly. Oh my, I hope it was a fast death for the monkey else i'll feel even more guilty! Not that I wanted to kill it but it alrdy happened, so what can I really do?!?!?
I was claimed the murderer.
I've been quite busy of late. Sorry to the ones whom I haven't meet up with!Seriously, 24 hrs a day doesn't seem enough! And I'm in need of sleep. Europe pictures will be up in facebook until I have the time to do up a storyboard here. I reckon it will take ages..hahaha!2009 is drawing to a close and I think its been the most amazing phase of my life.I'm finally done with studies. Backpacked to Phuket, part of Taiwan and toured central Europe.Attempted tuition and it gave me a great deal of pain and joy but I'm still loving it.Not forgetting the crazy weekend in Melacca.Realised that job-hunting during recession is a pain in the arse. Then again, that phase will resume soon.Sister turned 21.Parent's Silver Anniversary, no grand dinner or whatsoever but had a great day.Upcoming Christmas countdown and road trip with you know who u are!2009 seems long and draggy in the first half of the year but the 2nd half passed at lightning speed! How I wish it hang ard for a few more months!2010 will mark the 24th year on earth. How exciting to grow eh? When we're young, we want to be grown up. Now, we're chasing with time and hoped that it would stop. I shall be contented with who I am now and what I have now. Though it isn't perfect, but its the imperfections in life that make you cherish what you have now even more. In conclusion, life's always a comparison. What a pain!
I'm beginning to feel that the peeps at home are gonna feel empty. Now that the housewife is taking a long break, who's gonna do the laundry, mop the floor, cook or iron the clothes?Even the part time 'granny Lin' is taking a break, who's gonna be the masseuse at home and who's gonna be the one nagging at the kiddos?On my way to the office to pick some things just now, I kept reminding Ronald to take over my massage job. It has to be done daily. And when office needs him, he have to cancel ALL his appointment. Naggy I know but its not much of a choice. I'm worried too you see...After smelling the notes, I'm beginning to feel the anxiety! On a side note, Swiss Franc is so pretty! Why ours is forever that boring ar???
When lizard meet crocs
Today is perhaps the most disgusting day of my life!!!!I'm completely horrified about creepy crawlies. Though I'll be a lil squeamish about but I promise no exaggerative actions. I usually wear my crocs to work because I haven't found myself a comfy pair of covered shoes. This crocs I own isnt covered btw. It still has many holes on it. So I was having lunch with my parent an this slimy, cold-blooded baby chameleon decided to play with the maze of holes in my shoes. It all happened when I suddenly had this cold tingling feeling halfway into my mee rubus and I thought to myself, "How could a piece of tissue go into my crocs when the hole is so small?" I looked down and almost hyperventilated. This freaking monster was making its way in and out of I dunno how many holes of my shoe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Seriously, I cried on the spot! Like the first time of my life because of this HORRIBLE CREATURE! And my mum still got the cheek to laugh at me and my very kind father keep asking me to eat faster as if nothing happened. To think he was trying to kill the creature halfway through his porridge but it ended up under some metal cover. My stomach almost overturned alright?!?!??!! I think all the ah peks ard us were staring at me but I didn't really bother cus this freak accident bothered me more! I dun even care if the whole coffee shop was looking at me. What are the odds of having a baby chameleon in a coffeeshop and make its way into my shoe??? I was so affected the whole day. It just brings chill down my spine!
Oh darling Omnia II, I finally lay my hands on you after pursuing you for substantial amount of time.
Its not easy to handle you honestly but I'm getting better at it whether on bed, workdesk or even in the car! I'm loving it each time I caress, rip you apart or rape you inside out! You nvr fail to make me high. Alright, I know this is beginning to sound disgusting.
Its not like any other day where I get to dream about what phone should I change right?
~~~~~~~~~~Anyways, blogger template finally became normal!
I've got a lineup of progs ahead and it just couldn't be better. And I'm finally able to meet friends whom I've got no time to meet...like FINALLY!!!
Work had been sane for now. So I shan't complain. But I wouldn't dare think for next month.
I'm off to work! See you soon when I've got the time to narrate what had been going on in the past mth.
Meanwhile, take care ppl!

I have reached the phase in life where decision making is a crucial factor. Oh well, maybe not that crucial since life is so unpredictable.Everyone have been asking whether I've found a job or not. The answer is NO!What follows is always like, "Aren't you worried?" or "Won't your parents nag at you?"I guess worries is not so much about whether I've found a job but rather going into the working world and worry about the job I do. And no my parents didn't nag at me.You may think I'm fortunate..like how I never needed to go out and work for money. But no! There are perhaps some things that people will never understand. So don't judge me for who I am. And no, I'm not rich! We've been through more downs than up in fact. I don't go for designer clothes nor accessories. We merely go for quality which happens to be some brands ppl think its big. We're brought up with the mindset to buy things that last longer rather than have cheap variations to suit different clothes. Its in our blood. I'm not rich enough to pay tour agencies for tours so I plan my own which i enjoyed thoroughly. I like it this way. So when I travel, please dun say I'm rich so I travel.What I've just mentioned are just thoughts that flowed. I'm not pin-pointing at anyone. I think I'm perhaps irritated when most of the calls recently are link to whether I've started working. I know most of you are concern. But honestly, I do sense that a couple just ask cus they're glad they found a job before me? Like oh please, I'm not jealous and won't be! I can only say good for you! Maybe they really tried their best to mean well but its just so fake.Anyways, life's good now. There's no rush because I have so many decades to work. And I'm pack whole mth through so I am feeling good. I only feel the urge to work at times.I've been trying to post photos but blogger has been quite moody recently. Its template is all screwed.I'm so looking forward to the weekends!

The weekend was good. I spent Friday looking for myself.
Sat was splendid too! Apart from the puke blood morning with my tuitee, I had a wondeful day.
Met up with SL after tuition for threading. It was shiok to the bones..hahaha! We're currently well deforested.
Then we proceed to meet up with NANNY'S FRIEND.
I enjoyed the time when we just superglue our bums to the seat of TCC and watch the world go by. I think I'm able to sit there the whole afternoon just people watching. Of course the company added laughters and I needed them.
Everything was just great until each time I look at my feet! Normal outfit for a hot day but I wore the wrongest pair of shoe - THE CROCS! The Oh-so-comfy crocs spoilt my day!
Anyways, tt aside, we went to visit Iluma. Suaku YH and I stepped in for the first time. Wanted to try the cinema but timing was bad. 3 of us took a perhaps-the-world's longest "translator" (insider's joke). Its 4 stories high if i'm not wrong.
When PM is not available, SL is both herself and PM. You guys know what I mean eh?
We wanted to have Fish and Co. for dinner cus someone was craving for seafood platter. At Iluma, we saw Manhatten and wanted to have it for dinner instead.
But you know, sometimes we get lured for good stuff. We walked by Blue Mountain Cafe and they're having 44% off total bill due to Ms Singapore 44th Birthday. So why not???
We settled in. Ordered. Talked. Ate. Laughed. Gossiped. Drank. Feels so gooooooooooood! I just love life this way. I seriously think I have the best job in the world now - tt's jobless. Not tt I want to stay long this way but I'm worry-less.

We shall go back there for a cuppa one fine day ya! It just looks too tempting..hehehe
SL had perhaps half the ribs of the pig cus the portion was so HUGE!
YH had the 'eye' of the cow - ribeye's steak and it was nicely done I would say.
Me and my pork shoulder which was a chokeful of fats. The apple sauce was good so were the tomatoes. I dun eat tomatoes and I must say I quite like these. The yellow ones are bananas.
This is Tiramisu Latte if i'm NOT wrong. It taste great, seriously!
Cute stirrer which I didn't realise until dunno when.

What's dinner w/o a picture of us!
P/s: PM, I know you miss this and US, the gist of it is here. :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sunday was an early and super packed day! Rise and shine to my alarm. Drove my way to woodlands and boy, the journey was so long!
Supposed to meet the boy and girl at 9.30am BUT someone slept like a baby and didn't pick up my call until 20 mins later. So we were very late for our Bak Kut Teh but luckily they still have lor!
The boy had a quick haircut before I head to Bottle Tree Park for Jialing's solemnization. We were late but luckily in time!
The day ended with 2 tuitions and a trip to aunt's place. I was totally exhausted!
Post Convo
After convo, I had a ball of night till the sun rises before I hit the sack!We had ice cream at Udders, powerful alcoholic ice cream tt I so adore.
Whoops! PM looking all lost again...hahaha
Then prata near Jermyn's place. Jermyn, if you're reading this, YH almost wanted to ask Mr Oh down for prata!!!
Thereafter we went for our mahjong!!!!!!
Ooolala...it feels good to touch the tiles after such a long while.
We were tired but we had great fun.
The most fun part was driving back home at like 8am. OMG...I almost died with the madness on SLE and CTE. Everyone's busy going to work and I'm heading home to sleep! Seriously, all I can literally think of is my BED that morning..so freaking tired!
Now I can understand how YH felt when he went home the other morning..haha! And PM can understand how SL felt. We really feel for each other man!
Convocation 2009
July is coming to a close. I've had one of the most amazing month in my life! Convocation was on Wed, 29 Jul. It was a day tt declared me a student no more. Bittersweet feeling because uni is perhaps the peiod I played the most, travelled the most and skipped the most lectures.I sincerely THANK Su Ling and Peimei for coming. And I thank my parents and family for giving unconditional love and support through the years of education, and for putting up my wilderness and temperament.
I miss:- hall - sitting in lectures with heart elsewhere and staring into space (giving only 20% attention to the lectures) - chionging online lectures and having the panic attack when quizzes are the next day- mugging till early in the morning in undergrad lab- Prof Tan LP and Prof Joachim Loo's lectures the most! Their voices are soothing to my ears and also the lectures are more interesting la!- rushing from lab to lab for FYP (But not the part where I didn't achieve the results I wanted)
Those are only some of the misses. I bet there'll be more to come as time pass. It was indeed a moment to remember.The pictures will do the talking.
The last weekend was madness! But all in the name of FUN!I bet the rest of us will agree to it with all ur heart!We walked till our stomachs went on war, sang to our lungs content and talk till our hearts laughed.It was a great, really great trip!!The all time high spirit didn't even end after we reach SG. Those few nights of bare minimal sleep were worthwhile.We took plentiful of pictures which ate like a huge area of my harddisk. Tomorrow is the day we will create another memorable history.
3 days of fun, incessant laughters and HTHTDD!!!!!
I simply can't wait for it to arrive man!
I love the impromptu-ness.
We merely book the coach and barely read up on what attractions there is and we're already so excited on the main highlight of our trip - HTHTDD!!!!!
Thank you Sentosa for not having anymore chalets left for us. I'm glad our brains are so powerful it drove us to Melacca.
Tmr will drop by very very sooooooooooooooooon :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The month of July have been a lungful because I went to quite a number of KTV sessions and it was all crazyly FUN!
8 Jul~~Ikea & KTV
It was suppose to be Transformers after Ikea but the mouth was itching for a good exercise so we headed to KTV :)

Other than singing, they never forget about our feet. I was literally raped by this innocent-looking machine. It hurts after the massage but still shiok la. I'm sorry i'm contradicting!

12 Jul ~~ Sentosa & KTV
Met up early in the morning to have breakfast before driving into the southern island of Singapore. It was so exciting driving in because it's most of our first time.
We missed the kiosk to make payment and had to make a detour and knowing if we exit, we'll exit for good. So we stop somewhere rather faraway and YH had to jog there to pay..haha!
We didn't have any games like volleyball or frisbee cus none of us have it! So we had SL's exclusively expensive poker card to accompany our time there. It didn't last us long but the company and fun sure did burn us inside out!
Some had their fair share of being thrown into the murky water. I so miss Phuket where there's deck chairs and what we have here is coconut trees and heng heng you get the hut.

This is exclusively for you boys! I had a good time laughing when I saw them. Too bad I missed this part!
We more or less concluded our Sentosa fun, joy and laughter after a good 3 hours.
We wanted to play Wii games but succumbed to KTV since there's so many of us.
We went to partyworld Liang Court and the room had a massage chair!!! We basically snatched it ( at least YH, Jerm and I snatched). It was painfully shiok! BUT the aftermath was terrible. I had this ache on both side thighs and I thought I knocked somewhere. The back was worse...it really felt like the machine raped me externally.

Photowhoring progressed very well indeed! I was out of most pictures because I busied myself with the massage chair.
I cannot stop the laughing when I saw Jerm sleeping on the massage chair.
PM, Jerm and I ended our night by watching Transformers. Good movie considering I did not sleep at all give that few hours of sleep I have for few comsecutive days.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
KTV again next week!
I've had too much fun in the past couple of months, apart from the grad trips which etch my heart deeply, I've met up with many friends!
I busied myself with tuitions, sometimes helping my papa, and the rest of the time is OUT TO PLAY!
Last Wed, I met up with part of the 'siao on' team for steamboat dinner and our purpose was to get the coach tickets but it was all sold! Luckily we still have another source and we got out tickets the next day!!!!!
The pot of greens
The early birds :)
Yong Hui was VERY VERY LATE! We had like 5 rounds of soup refills before he came ok!!!!
Now that we've confirmed our lodging and transportation, I just can't wait for next Fri to arrive! Till then, we'll blast, blasting and BLASTED!Oh and not forgetting our fun-filled Sunday! We'll go Sentosa and hopefully the sun will shine on us that day!
I love love these bunch of friends!A brilliant idea with very prompt anwers made it possible.Now, like the rest, can't wait for July to come!There's still a month or so I know but the adrenaline is rushing since the weekend.I'm going Genting for the 18638027 times this weekend. It's so gonna be a boring 4D3N trip. I seriously wonder what I'm gonna do. Think I'll just melt in bed or pop my eyes out at the casino. But Lim Goh Tong always eat my money and dun donate to the Caryn's fund! So perhaps I'll just stick to different methods of adhering myself to the bed.
Tonight, I feel really empty,A little angry,Unfair,I feel like venting,I dunno why but I am grumpy.Its not the time of the month but the complexity of a person's mind.Actually, maybe all I need is a window? Or maybe I'm just envious.For once, I feel the urge to drink the night away, but not getting drunk. ~~~~~~~~~~Sometimes I made myself think the friends I made are worthy, yet sometimes they proved to be otherwise.Perhaps all along friends should be chosen wisely. People come and go in our lives but how many really do stay?Good friends is just a name but how do you classify them as good? When they give you benefits or when they just drop you a call or msg to see how you're doing? There are so many factors that make your friends good. Do you have good friends but deep down its a flawed kind of friendship. Then again, you just smoothen the flaws and accept them. And how many people actually do make the effort to keep in contact? I ought to be glad I have certain people who touched my lives and stayed. I won't know for how long but at the moment, I should be contented.~~~~~~~~~~~I wish our chalet materialised asap so I can look forward to our party night.
My blading craze is back!
Since I have nth better to do these days, might as well spend the time doing smth useful.
I have improved a lil though still super prone to falling.
The weather these days are so unbearable so I blade in the night.
I wonder when I'll be able to blade like Ah Lee.
oh well, I'm a super slow learner. Will take ages to master blading.
