Air tickets are booked quite some time ago actually.

Will be leaving for Hanoi on the 22nd June and we'll be back on the 9 July from Bangkok.

The entourage include Idy, Lixia and macho Wai Loon.

Hopefully nth goes wrong and we will be safe and sound.

Exciting as it may seem, crossing from Vietnam into Laos and then Thailand.

BUT WE HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED PLANNING THE ITINARARY!

There's still 3 months to go and I cannot wait!

Till I get the photos from Sharon before I talk abt last Friday...

I dunno whether to laugh or cry...

This poor boy will encounter tonnes of problem calling the helpdesk.

    “May I know your name?..”

    “Batman...”

    “May I know your name?”

    "My name is Bat-man…”

“Trying to be funny?!?!?! What is your surname?..”

    “Supar-man…”

“I want to speak with your manager…”
All because he was named as such and so did his dad.
Maybe they are brought up in a childhood where Batman and Superman do not exist.
Will his son be named Ultraman?
Sorry to be so evil but I seriously pity him. Laughter was a momentary only!

    In Loving Memory of 小叔

One year seems to flash by,

I haven't really felt that you have left us.

Maybe you left us a humongous heart,

which taught us many principles in life.

Everytime I think about the moments we spent together,

holidays, meals, chilling out or simply just you advising me on the route I should take.

You took all your nieces and nephews like your own children and helped in plentiful ways.

    When you battled the illness,

we sincerely prayed for the best that your kindness will allow you to stay with us a lil longer.

Maybe our prayers were indeed answered.

15 years ago, doc said you were left at most 5 years with us.

But you had a determined heart and body.

You hung on for the past 14 years and finally succumb to what we called reality.

I remember vividly, how your colleagues praised and weep for you.

Every word that came from their mouth etched deeply in each of our heart.

The tears that rolled weren't how sad we were.

    Or maybe it was.

But it was more for how much you were missed.

I missed your voice, your fierce look yet a very kind heart.

小叔, You're dearly missed by Pa, all your sisters, nieces, nephews, grandniece and grandnephews.

Yesterday, the Lin Clan met up once again but without Mel the rain creator (insider's joke). We had a guest that evening to grace our forever hilarious meals and chill-out sessions.
    Drumroll...

    ...

    ...

    ...

    ...

    ...
    ...

    ...
    ...
    ...
    ...
    Dexter _ _ _ _
I dunno his surname thus the blank. But not Lin for sure!
We had dinner at Essential Brews. The food is alright but I was busy laughing I forgot to take pictures.
LESLIE LIN was late as usual.
Before he came, those laughters were just starters.
AND when he arrived, it became main course!
Especially when he mistook this waitress for a friend of his. Still happily ask her to our table preparing to ask for the manager for fun.
ONE mole gave the joke away.
Plus Leslie's 'seh' lost totally in that single night.
Very throw face but DAMN funny!!!!!!!
It was One Rochester after dinner for drinks.
At the carpark we came across this interesting car. It has the shattering visual effect that seemed like a golf ball wank it's glass. Though a bit fake but kudos to the one who had such creativity.
Presenting to you One Rochester for the riches. Everything expensive so Eugenia can only take free photos..hahaha
Another restaurant nearby with rather steep price. $17 for a cuppa coffee?!?!?! Eug's dad can drink 36 cups or so I remember. Actually I think more leh cus Nescafe powder at most $10 per bottle so can drink like many many many cups!

Quite retro dining area in Graze

We ended up in I dunno where also. Neither Graze nor One Rochester. Oh gosh...I really can't remember the place!

Anyways, we played really silly yet fun games. I like! More to come, yes guys?

Today, we caught Vantage Point @ GV Max, 1 gigantic auditorium with 602 seats and it has one of the widest screens in Asia (22.4 metres), the length of 2 SBS buses combined (source koped from gv webbie)..

The seats have leg room so spacious anli stretched her legs comfortably across.

This is quite a unique movie cus throughout the 1.5 hours of the show, it actually revolves ard 23 mins of an event that took place through 8 points of view.

Go watch it if you wanna hear the audience laugh, ooooh, ahhhhh and probably hear 'walao'.

We had nice dinner at Modesto's.

This is the Parma ham with rock melon.

I like this starter! The rock melon compliment the ham or vice versa.

I forgot to take the pizza! Next trip okie?

Happen to browse through the pictures and this Ah Wang pic got me laughing like siao again. Leslie, you lost all ur 'seh' again.

Several days ago, I went out with half the Lin Clan, namely Anli the babe and Leslie the hunk for dinner and movie.

We had dinner at this Japanese Noodle House right at the corner of Orchard Plaza.

    It was yummilicious!

The noodle was hard enough for my liking.

Just look at our pleased faces.

Leslie immitated the Jap style of bowing before tucking in.

My cold noodles which was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Leslie and his Char Siew Ramen. This sisn't show his pleased face...more like we forced him into taking the picture!

    This is a better take!

OUR DINNER & IT WAS DAMN GOOD! Thanks for the recommendation Leslie!

Off we went for The Waterhorse!

I think blogger is making me crazy!
When I'm in the mood to blog a looooooong entry, either the whole window cock up or I can't load the photos.
    AND
When I'm so tired after a tired day at work and movie thereafter, everything seems normal.
I went to watch Horton with IA peeps, namely Darling Sharon in case she reads this and say I call them the IA peeps. There's also Seck Sen, CHain Yee and our not so cool 银狐 aka Calebeeeeee. Wahahaha!!!
The show is rather funny. Should go watch it to destress.
Anyways, I met up with the bunch of guys who have played a huge role in making poly life wholesome and much much livelier!
We had dinner @ Breko Holland Village last Saturday.
Sat for 4.5 hours till my butt almost burnt the seat!

    From left to right:
Wei Jie's gf (Veron I think!), Wei Jie, Hao Nian, Raymond, Yours Truly, Thomas, Kwang Yong, Edmund, Derek, Daniel, Immanuel
Half the class turned up only because quite a number of them are still inthe wild catching that Mas Selamat lor.
Keong is in Aus and by the time we wait for him to be back for a reunion, KY would have left!
Huat is forever so busy with singapore operations man.
Chen Leong and James busy with NS too!
And that Eugene who say hope can meet but he don't even wanna give us a little hope by gracing this not very well planned dinner!
Cai Li who is busy with her family.
Oh Gosh...we're growing old and getting everyone to meet ain't that easy.
And what's more, I'm kind of always the one planning such things. Gets on my nerve sometimes when ppl dun reply but the outcome always melts my heart.
    Thanks for the pressie Edmund!
Meanwhile, I need to head the sack for preparation of war in lab tmr!
    Good night world. Hugs people!

Alrighty, I know this is kind of late. Because I havent got the pics from Ah Lun la...he's busy so let's forgive him.

And I shall not wait for him any longer. I'll just add the pics when I received them :)

We (includes Ernest, Yangshun and I) celebrated our 72nd Bday 3 weeks back. It's way advance for me and way belated for Ern & Yang!

The cake had 7 huge candles and 2 small ones. Cus we celebrated tgt so we added up the ages!

I had a great evening, enjoyed myself thoroughly. I think it has been n eventful evening for everyone.

It started with movie titled "Juno" then photowhored @ Gelare while waffle-ring.

And we dilly dallied to Holland Village. Even lied to Yang, Felicia & Kat that we're on the way when we were only at the lift of PS. Went up and down several levels of the carpark to look fr Ah Lun's car!

We had dinner @ Breko and simply ate till we had leftovers and played 中级密码until we cleared up all the leftover sausages!

After dinner, off we went to Eski Bar that was just up the street. It's a cool place to chill out and I really mean chill.

They have the normal room and the chiller room which was about 2-3 deg celsius.

What's more? We simply photowhore through the night.

In the chiller room where we really freeze our ass off!

We tried misting the place but not much of an effect la.

Prize presentation ceremony for being older by another year!

By the endof the night, we had to decide the place we wanna go for our trip and Ah Lun surprised us with Tibet!

We happily step foot onto Mount Faber and discussed about it.

Excited as we were, I reached home at abt 2am and searched for Tibet till almost 4.

I love Travelling and guess what we found at the top of the hill?

    We touched down at Bangkok!

Oh ya, I forgot to mention that while we played 中级密码, whoever lost twice must go into the chiller room for 10 minutes without jacket and sing a song.
    Loser for the night...
