    Had an impromtu meet up with dear Givany on Wed. We set to meet roughly at 12 but the pig in us end up meeting at almost 3pm la.

    Decided on Marche for lunch..eh...that was like breakfast + lunch + tea break! Hahaha..

    Anyways, it's my virgin trip to Marche ok..please applaud for my suaku-ness. I love the cottage style interior!!! I want my house kitchen to be like tt! Since timber is so expensive, I'm gonna chop National Park Board trees and make my own tables and chairs and prolly chopping board out of them. hehehe..joking la!

    We walked like 10 mins to find the table of our choice. Too many tables with different settings so we were quite spoilt for choices. We walked like another 2 or 3 rounds deciding on what to eat.

    So, we settled for:

    Savoury Ham & Cheese Crepe

    Battered Calamari

    Rosti

    Sasiparilla Root Drink known as ROOT BEER la!!!!

    Then we questioned ourselves why is it called root beer since it's not beer at all. Answer anyone??

    It was a well spent afternoon just chatting while eating and window shopped. Holland V next ya? Sorry banana, you've missed this one out. But fair la..I forget to tell you Gi, Rina and I caught Fantastic 4 a week back i think cus my aunt gave me tix..So fair and square hor.

    It's Friday! Here's Gi and I wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!

    For a moment today, I realise that vehicles is one of the greatest invention in the world. Technology has indeed made the world smaller.

    I went to KL on Fri afternoon and was back in less than 36 hours. It was effortless for me cus I just plug in the ear plugs and sleep all the way. As usual la. Along North South Highway, all you can see is palm trees, trees and more palm trees. Then palm trees triggered my love for geography and make me regret for not attempting the geog route!

    You see?? It's mostly trees!

    Only cows along the river amaze me but after the flood last Dec, I haven't seen any. Maybe they've drown or they've trotted to higher grounds. Or maybe they know I've been peeking at them..hahaha!!

    The weather has also been weird. Suddenly sunshine, suddenly rain.

    Now you see it...
    ...Now you don't!

    But on trips like these, it's always food glorious food. No pix cus we're really famished by then. You know, meals are unpredictable on the road due to jam here and there. But yest's traffic was fine. Just that we had lunch and dinner at really weird timings.

    Pa saw this:

    Then asked us:

    Pa: You all know what is the fish at the top right tank called?

    I said it's called fish. Wa lao, he's always up to such antics. We tried catfish, garoupa, and other fish names though i know they dun look like that la. You guess what is it alrdy???

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    It's toilet. Cus if you notice, the tank beside it has a toilet sign with arrow pointing towards the fishes. We laughed like siao. Before that, my bro and I sat at the 3rd row which dun have door one what. But we forgot and we both pulled the cup holder at the same time and I almost wanna ask my mum why the door the door cannot open. Damn stupid! I also laugh till peng.

    The hotel we stayed.

    Long awaited bathtub. But hor, we're so 'tall' that we found that it could only fit us from hip down..haha. Actually the bustub is very small la. Quite disappointing though.

    After a refreshing bath and being the first to lay on the white clean sheets. Sheer bliss! And the panaroma view from our room...

    And I just saw this...

    See how dangerous my house is?

    Roaches and lizzes, Please SHOOOO~~~~~~

    @ 1:58 AM

    Recently, my house had been raped by many cockroaches and lizards. One or 2 still nevermind but they brought in their grandparents, parents, siblings and cousins. Maybe even friends. So many generations that we get freaked out!

    Now, almost everyday, I'll either hear screams or if we're at work, someone at home will msg and tell us the intruder alarm has gone red. Just yesterday, my sis msged, "When you all enter the kitchen, beware of a dying cockroach!" She dare to kill dut dun dare to clear. I totally forgot abt it when i reached home cus it was alrdy 1am and ALMOST stepped on it. I can't imagine if i really stepped on it la. I think i will just soaked my whole feet in pure dettol throughout the night man.

    And because of one bloody lizard in the rubbish chute area, no one dare to open the door (like pantry kind) for days and my poor bro has gotta bring the rubbish all the way downstairs to throw. Days later, mummy couldn't bear any longer and ask my bro to check the fat lizard out. He opened to see a black cockroach. So where's the lizard??? It will somehow make appearance soon I guess.

    Evil pests. I hate anything tt moves!!!

    The content below is just my ranting. Choose not to read if you can!

    I hate people to jump to conclusion and scold me for nothing. And I hate certain oldies who assume they're right all their life and have control over other people's life.

    Everyone is angry at her but dun they ever reflect and think that I should be the one who's feeling the all time low and pathetic? They dun need to lift a finger and I'm the one doing every single thing for her! All they do is just command me to do this and that. I'm mentally tired..I really am.

    I'm not ur maid and if you think you can't look after ur sis, please hire one. Not like you can't afford. Some money cannot be saved and I can't be there always. You need my help and my dad need my help. When we say we work till midnight or sometimes till the wee hours of the morning, you dun believe we have so much work. Ur doubt always make mummy frustrated and we are all affected la. Damn you...now you're sick so who's gonna be there to look after both of you??? You only listen to ur stingy brother who's rich and a freaking miser. You dun like to disturb him yet you always sound as if my family owe you like tt.

    Everything sucks and I am pissified!

    11.20am...

    I reached Raffles City and joined in the queue for donuts from Donut Factory. The queue dun looks long actually.

    When we neared That CD Shop, they suddenly played this song...

    So Banana said, "Yes! I WILL SURVIVE....this queue!!!" so hilarious man..hahahahaha!!!!

    BUT....after 4.5 hours of sheer STANDING, Banana was totally drained.

    Dun ask why it takes so long. It may be the slow service, it may also be the fussy customers requests.

    When it was our turn, I swear we were so tempted to sink our teeth in every single donut!!!

    Our satisfied faces...

    A rather accomplished day actually cus I queued like a million minutes just for donuts and met up with the guys.

    Had a super duper sinful dinner with them @ Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant @ Turf City. I was WOWED by the variety of seafood they have there.

    Everyone is suppose to order the live seafood from Unique Seafood Market, then they will send our seafood to the restaurant of our choice (we chose Ah Yat in this case) and they will cook according to the style we want. Cool isn't it?? I so wanna bring my whole family there but tt'll prolly happen only after I work la..hahaha

    I tell you, the Alaska crab and Australian crab there are so huge it can cover 2 of my face. The gigantic abalone also big enough to cover my big hand. Then the Australian lobster hor...big like siao la. So many many many other seafood la. Spoilt for choices totally. While waiting for the slow coach Edmund and Kwang Yong, Wei Keong and I almost wanna order the Alaska Crab and eat. Super tempting but expensive also la.

    And so, as tempted as we were, we still din bear to order this. Maybe next time when we're richer la. I'll definitely be back for you, King Alaska!

    However, we killed one of this lobster family member. Not sure whether it's one of his siblings or his cousin.
    Din eat him cus he was too old (actually we too poor la).

    Still, we ate the above abalone's grandson. Looks big ain't it? Hey, didn't ur Mummy taught you that looks can be deceiving???

    This is the one I recommended (WK crudely named it penis). It's actually sea mantis. Very sweet and delicious.

    The killed Australian Lobster. It's damn good i must say. The meat is fresh, tender and succulent. Very fleshy too!! A MUST TRY!!

    By this time, we were all rather full to welcome our last dish, the Cheese Oyster. We had to play oh-ya-pay-ya-som to see who shall have the largest piece of oyster. And they play cheat one..i had no choice but to get the second largest piece which apparently appears to have the largest oyster under the melted cheese. It was still good nonetheless.

    We also ordered drunken prawns and Bamboo Clams but I was too famished so din managed to capture the pics.

    To sum up, it was definitely a taste of the sea. And they have 50% off on weekdays and 30% off on weekends. Quite worth the try.

    Banana, Gi and I were just talking abt donuts from Donut Factory and I asked her whether wanna go queue anot since we're both having holidays (not that we're that free la but still can afford the time). You can call me siao if I'm willing to stand for 2-3 hours just for donuts cus I'm a big fan of them! Dunkin' Donuts will suffice when I'm in Malaysia but I haven't eaten them for ages.

    I came home and saw this huge box of DONUTS from THE DONUT FACTORY!!!!! OMG..ZHONG 4D also not so accurate! First thing I asked mummy was, "Who so siao go queue for 3 hours?" Mummy say cousin Robbie queued for 3 hours and gave us 6! I'm so glad Ronald stayed at his house over the 3 days so I got kou3 fu2..hehehehe

    The pretty box when you know it's treasures inside.

    I opened and left 4 only! But nevermind..have better than dun have! I ate the choco ring with nuts one and it's damn nice..soft ring topped with not so sweet chocolate and chopped almond if I'm not wrong. Pa came along and ate 2. Mummy ate some apple one and said it's too sweet for her liking. BUT PA SAY IT'S NICE ALSO!!!!! At first he also say I siao wanna go queue. I think he can keep back his words le cus he say worth eating..hahahahahaha!!!!

    Pa: When you go to the States and eat their donuts, you will come back and PUI PUI PUI at Singapore ones. (He's been there, done that so I have nothing to say)

    Me: I no money to fly there so pay money to eat Singapore ones lo.

    As usual, he compares the originals with Singapore. Like how he has a pair of Nike running shoes for I think almost 25 years or more already and it's still in working condition. Erm...of course still in working condition la cus I never seen him wear before since birth so just let him say lor. He says the quality cannot be compared with the Made in Indonesia and Made in Thailand ones already. Quite true la.

    So I'm gonna queue...Who wanna buy tell me and that's provided I'm in the mood to be kind.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Met up with my 2 babes today. even though we meet up like 3 weeks ago, it always seems like we haven't meet for months! And we never fail to realise some really stupid things.
    We realised today that we have NEVER watched a movie together. It's usually with the class or some close friends.
    The numerous funny things that happened in the last 4++ years can be repeated everytime we meet and never feel sian abt it.
    The year 1 chalet...cycling upslope until both of them gave up (I perservered hor..they reminded me la). Who slept with who in chalet and who got the bed while who slept on the floor. All I can say is poor Givany got the floor..hahahaha! Eugene's snore, Joshua's half-opened eye, water bomb to celebrate erm one Malay guy's bday (forget his name, Gi tell me who hor, ur brain function better). Banana, Eugene, Jun Feng and I stayed up on the last night, then so happened when 6am strike, the National Anthem was aired on TV so we raised the volume to the loudest and woke everyone up...I think all of them wanted to kill us. After that, we couldn't take it and slept through. Those were the days...
    I wish I could turn back time but the memories are actually enough to last a lifetime.
    Pics for the evening @ Crystal Jade...
    Banana then dreamt abt being a food host and this is the result...
    It was darn funny! Banana said the red bean was tender...since when we use tender for red bean huh??? it was hilarious. Btw, only 5 pieces were left because this is TAKE 3!
    And and and...Crystal Jade blacked out for a few minutes but we continued to photowhore in the dark and eat our food as of there was light. I think we were too hungry.
    *Pardon my laughter in the background, I cannot tolerate these 2 girls' nonsence but it was fun nonetheless.
    Went to 4th Aunt house for family dinner cus we hadn't met since small uncle's passing. It's always warm to see my cousins, uncles and aunts, mephews and niece. The house is always filled with laughters, lame jokes, catching up on our lives and kids whines, cries and giggles.
    Here are my 2 nephews, Elliot and Gabraille. See how fast kids grow? We're aging as fast as they're growing.
    Working for Pa for 2 consecutive days is really tiring. My 2 palms are so pain I can't slp well much less hold on to things well. Plus the massage for grandaunt. Oh man...I told my Pa today that I always massage for people but not getting massage. He said, "Now then you know different people got different lives ar". WTH!
    Actually this 2 consecutive days are within 24 hours. Cus last night after family dinner, we went to work from 11pm to 5am. Then I continue from today 6pm to 11pm. All within a day but I haven finish what I'm suppose to do and broke a carbide tool tt cost 50 bucks...hahahahaha!!
    The 2 buggers (Ronald and Debbie) are screaming their lungs away now thanks to a teeny weeny lizard. okokok...I'm scared of it too. I think it has been too much of a reliance on me, the elder sister.
    Just yesterday, Debbie saw a huge indian lizard. (anyways, the blacker version are known as indian lizard and the fairer ones are ang mo lizard. Small ones are baby lizards.) She ask me to catch it when she jolly well know i'm scared of anything tt moves except humans. She's not that afraid actually but will scream if it moves. At least she dare to pour hot water on it or chase it away.
    Today, Ronald just scream my name through the house then i tot what happened.
    "Lizard! Come catch leh!".
    I sort of scolded him. "You all always lizard then find me. Good things never share with me!"
    Everone in the house bloody hell knows i have totally good reasons to be scared of them but always ask me to catch. Is it out of convenience to call me?
    Anyways, most of my June will be spend at my grandaunt's hse during the day cus no one is free during part of the week to look after her. I dun mind looking after her but I somehow dun feel comfortable with them. It's gotta do with their generation conflict. my maternal granny is not on good terms with her sisters, one of which is this grandaunt i'm looking after. Mummy say it's gotta do with the house they're living in. And because of that, I can't have freedom of speech cus one wrong word can send mummy to hell. they will qsn her and cause unpleasanties among the whole maternal side. I will burst if this goes on man. I rem how mummy used to cry over the phone whenever she spoke to my granny when I was only ard 5 or younger. I hate my maternal grandmother. She never once looked after us. NOT ONCE! Which grandparents wouldn't like her own grandchildren man? My grandparents doesn't. Moreover, only my mum got married among her siblings and they have 4 grandchildren just like that. What more can they ask?!?!?! My parents said that whenever i went to their place when i was younger, they will stare and make sure i dun break any of their things. ASS...I HATE THEM. When mummy started working, she had to give 3/4 of her pay to her mum and when she's a day late, she will ask for it. Then when they tio 4D, they never once got me toys or whatever.
    Sometimes, i dun understand how money can be the root of all evil. But it's a living proof. Some people think too hard on money. I know I cant really comment too much on such issues. But help whenever you can.
    I know what poor feel like. My family ever been on an all time low and tried hard making end meets just for a few more meals. Lucky for us, we have really nice aunts and uncle who helped my dad a lot. I really mean a lot. That was back in 1997 when Pa just started his business. But the recession and fall in stock market hit us hard. It's over and we got on with life.
    Maybe we should learn to appreciated every little things ard us and not take it for granted.
    And my sis just came back from the lizard ordeal and said they whack till the intestines came out and blood splatter all over. So disgusting!! I din even know lizard got intestines, the diameter must have been really small.
    Much as I thought I can sit back finally and have a drama marathon, Ronald has been bugging me since I step foot on orchard this evening, rushing me to go home and help him do some stupid book review. Wa lao...I last did a book review when I was in Sec 1 hor. And I totally hate reading books that are boring like romance. I like authors like Adeline Yen-Mah and erm...I think tt's it. I'm shallow but just cant eat up the page of words and I can only read when I have the mood and if I suddenly have the interest in that book. It would be good if the story is based on real life story. I might like biography like how i bought the biography of Lee Kwan Yew and ended up lending to Pa's friend and nvr returned since..shit him. NOT CHEAP HOR!!!
    Back to the point of book review. I remembered not reading the book cus there was such thing as internet and every book review can be found there. So being the smart class, we all just copy and paste from the net. No one knows abt copyright back then as long as we get the grades can alrdy la. So now, working smart, I shall repeat the same thing to my bro..hehehe...who ask him borrow one book which cover dun even appeal to me! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.........
    *Ding Dong...Knock Knock*
    I was contemplating whether to open the door anot since I was alone at home. I took a peek through the doorhole and saw a teenage girl. I hesitated but opened in the end.
    "Hi, I'm from Woodlands." (duh...I dun wanna know whether you came from Bishan or Yishun)
    "OK...so?"
    "My sister is having her 'O' levels this year and as you know, it is very important to her."
    "Of course I know important. My brother having his also what."
    "My family is very poor and so we are raising funds."
    (eh! Xiao mei mei...your sentences full of loopholes leh. What has raising funds gotta do with your sister's exams??? At least you say we're very poor and can you please donate us some money? I see her young so nvr say much la...then her friend or dunno sister or what came...)
    Together they say they're here to sell ice cream.
    The other girl said: "can help us buy? We need to clear stock then can go home."
    Erm...so they only wanna finish selling so you can go home early ar?And whatever the girl said before her was just a lie so I could be sympathetic and buy? So no link one lo. Just tell me you wanna sell ice cream la and I might buy.
    I REALLY WILL DONATE WITHOUT HESISTATION IF YOU PROVE YOURSELF TO BE SINCERE AND FROM THE RIGHT CHARITY ORGANISATION. I DONATE OUT OF KINDNESS BUT IF YOUR LYING POWER IS SO GOOD TO CHEAT MY MONEY, I WOULDN'T SAY MUCH LA CUS IT'S YOUR LOSS. YOU HAVE NO SELF INTEGRITY AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.
    I just turned down their offer without hesistation.
    "In that case, can you donate us some money in token of appreciation?"
    WA LAO...APPRECIATE WHAT SHIT??!?!?!?! YOU NEVER EVEN GIVE ME ANY ADVICE NOR TAUGHT ME ANYTHING EXCEPT TO CHEAT POOR STUDENT AND AUNTIE'S MONEY YET YOU WANT MONEY?!?!?!?! But I appreciate her thickskin-ness so i gave her 2 bucks. So pissed with such ppl la...no wonder mummy ask me dun open door be it chicken or lao pek pek.
    On a lighter note, I watch Shrek 3 today! Ehhh...the show was alright la...laugh a bit here and there and dozed off towards the end but still could hear Serene's giggles. Was really tired guess.
    I felt really guilty for being extremely late for project meeting today. Sorry guys...my heartfelt apologies though I know you guys are forgiving...heeheee
