From London to Paris
The first train I ever taken was the train from Hanoi to Lao Cai. It was the VIP sleeper class and in my opinion, it was AWESOME for a country like that.
For Eurostar, it was so so only. I think my expectations were too high. But I've to say the railway station was pretty! The whole facade looked like a museum itself. Too bad I was busy dragging the luggages that I forgot to snap a photo of it.
At least when I received this ticket, I was still anticipating.
The interior of the station that look somewhat like the station in Harry Potter movie? You've gotta minus the lighting and us though.
Out of the blue, these 3 guys played disney songs. Pretty amazing I must say! Its only with these 3 instruments!
Eurostar, the train that brought us from London to Paris through the English Channel. It is just a tunnel where you look out of the window and you see your own reflection.
For a short journey of 2 hours, it link you between 2 countries and many other countries in the EU. But it comes with a price too! The ang mo know how to make money man. I remember paying like USD25 or slightly more for the train in Hanoi which took us abt 12 hours. This 2 hour journey cost almost a CRAZY 100£ (~SGD 236 that time). I think I felt cheated. To console ourselves, I can only say the scenery is pretty and at least you see handsome and pretty caucasians.

London bridge is still standing tall!
6 mths ago, I jetted off on A380 to a magical place called London. Everything felt surreal. 2 years ago, all I had in mind was to do a backpack trip to Europe before I turn 30 but ended up paying hefty sum for a private tour. Europe is really a fantastic travelling destination be it the people, culture or the buildings. What you see is the array of colours that allow you to paint the beautiful picture. I thought I'd better note down this journey before the colours faded away. But I know the places I've step foot on will forever be in my memory for safekeeping. 
We're allocated seats on the top deck and I was so excited because how many chances can you get out of your flights to climb up and down the stairs like no monkey's business?!?!

And SIA fed us silly. I think there were 6 meals altogeher! Flying with SIA, no worries abt the food being bad, really.
After lunch, I look at this and sighed big time! It felt like I've been up there for 6 hours!
For the first time in my life, I saw the rays of sunset and the crescent moon TOGETHER!

The changing of season is shown clearly on the trees as we travel.
Walking along Oxford Street, one of the fashion street of London, we saw this street stall selling fruits neatly displayed at an angle. Awesome!
Last but not least, Primark that sells really cheap stuffs from apparels to lingerie to shoes to belts. Cheap thrills!
We didn't have much time to walk the whole Oxford but I think its an eye opener to see SO MANY departmental stores with the whole building to themselves like Debenhams, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, just to name a few. And the names are like so fun to pronouns. Try Debenhams 10 times and it'll ring in your head!
