The misses
After chatting a bit with Desmond,
I realised how much I missed school.
Like literally!
My heart cringe thinking back on lectures, hall stay and the friendship forged.
How I miss them so...
THE MISSES:
- experiments during FYP.
- late night fun walking to the computer lab to mug till the sun is almost up.
- our mugging and nonsense in undergrad lab.
- calling MacD in the middle of the night and trying to get the rider into Ulu NTU.
- LT4, where we paid attention and dozed during class.
- Canteen A
- the walk back to hall inthe middle of the night.
- my single room in Hall 10 (Thank you Rina banana!)
- skipping morning classes when I want to indulge in more sleep!
- online lectures while having dinner alone in room.
- Prof Abadie's lecture because half the time, I'm drifted elsewhere because the word 'polymerization' is always heard. Its like a chant you know? But he's a cute old man!
- Prof Loo's interesting class in Advance Biomaterials.
- skipping perhaps half of Prof Alfred Tok's math class because its 8.30am on a Friday. But I'll never forget how he hinted us that Mid terms will be the qsn on fourier series and Laplase Transform appeared and Jonathan and I literally jaw dropped and only wrote our names on the paper, sat through 40 mins and submitted an empty script. A first for me and thankfully the last for now. We had 4 major mid terms, hence only had the evening before to 'pia' math. Unforgettable!
At the same time, I'm loving my present! At least I felt good abt it la ya?

You never know what will happen tomorrow
Life's really unpredictable. I've said it upteen times to constantly remind me to live everyday to the fullest! One of my parents' friend in KL just passed away last night. To think that I just talked to him few weeks back. And snap! Gone just like that...Shocking but all can only face reality. Treasure your loved ones and pamper yourself more often! On a side note, I'm so looking forward to tmr's chillax session!

For Mt K, I'm doing my part!
I really hope to scale Mt Kinabalu next year.
And for this, I'm putting my words to action.
I'll squeeze in cycling twice a week from now on, cycling up the horrendously steep slope of Labrador.
My legs almost cried from yesterday's climb. Stopped thrice on the slope and I hope by next mth, I'll cycle up effortlessly.
Here's me with Pa's trusty Halfway.
Last week, I laid my eyes on a hot chilli red Specialized bike but it will cost me an atomic bomb. So shelf the idea till I get richer!

On the 21 Aug 2010, a few of us went on board this big circle thing. It was said to be the biggest wheel in the world. They named it Singapore Flyer. But it didn't looked as majestic as the one in London. Maybe its the weather and its surrounding.Nonetheless, its the company that made the flight complete right?Too bad one man who turned 24 that very day couldn't turn up because he was thousands of Km away. But we still enjoyed ourselves on behalf of him. So kind of us!Ah Ling and I got free tix. Actually Ah Mei too but she was too busy preparing for upcoming concert, she forgot to bring the voucher out. So Ah Des and Ah Mei paid a hefty sum to enjoy the flight. In return, we took a hundred photos to remember how costly is SG's sightseeing. And for the little man who turned 24, this is for you! HAHAHA...
Jermyn, if you didn't know that Marina Bay Sands is ready, this is the sexy side view of it. If you know where is it la huh?!?! I scared you forgot how to navigate yourself when u see this photo. And I know you missed the Youth Olympic Games too! So I let you see the flame at the floating stadium (look bottom right).
The passengers on board flight D7.
And lastly, one unglam photo of me to end a torturing Tuesday!

Paris - The City of Love
I shall not let my trips take the backseat for my memory these years have been deterioriating in exponential rate!
So it was Paris I last stopped.
The moment we pulled over at the train station, we couldn't locate our bus because they had this rule that big buses cannot stop around the perimeter of the station. And I had to help look out for big buese around the vicinity because the aunties say they "路痴".
After a good 30 mins or so that we realise the bus was parked like few hundred metres away. It isnt far but the road conditions with madness traffic and up and down steps made pulling the luggage tough.
After sweating in the chilly and wet day, we had lunch at this french restaurant. And us being late for almost 2 hours, the restaurant just closed for business and the waitress was so grumpy she had to serve us at the point of her knock-off time. She was totally scolding the tourguide! Anyways, she left before our meal was served and the chef had to do it himself. Talk about culture eh? The chinese would probably welcome you with open arms even if you're late for lunch.
Appetiser was refreshing but main course was horrid! I realise the 'angmos' do not know what is chicken drumstick or wing or thighs. The breastmeat was so dry I didn't finished it. The caramel pie was good though.
Next up was to satisfy our card swiping skill. Much damage was done here and we left Galaries Lafayette much poorer.
