March-ing On

The birthday came and went. It was spent rushing through a project to be delivered this week. Somehow, I wasnt in the mood for cake this year cus the bro's bday just passed and we had one. But I'll make sure I have one next year, and a large one to make up for this year's? HAHA!!

I'm 24! Once you pass the 20 mark, the age escalates like nobody's business! Scary ain't it?!?!

But I think growing up is a valuable lesson we should learn.

Things happen for a reason and it sets me thinking. Afterall, its life lessons we're learn best from right? Somehow, I've began to see the different side of friends. Those who are real to you and those who just treat you better when they need you.

Its really disappointing to know they ask u out just thinking that they might need you or since you're into this, then call u lor. And if you say u cant make it, the reply is "then too bad lor". If you mean to ask me to join, would u make the person feel guilty for not going? If its once/twice, I might take it as a joke. But I guess there's only so much I can accept.

I'm not a sanitary pad. When u need me, u come to me, dun need alrdy just throw me aside. It isnt a good analogy but get the drift?

On a brighter note, I appreciate friends who still make the effort to meet amidst busy schedule.

And thanks aplenty for remembering my birthday! I don't need a party to make me happy but just a call/msg to make my day.
