Through Rainclouds and Sunshine
I would consider it a rather inpromptu trip because Su Ling msged me on Tue (if I'm not wrong) whether I wanna go Pulau Ubin on Sat. I agreed rightaway and everything was confirmed through smses. We're so cool isn't it? HAHAHA!!!
Anyways, we only sort of discussed at midnight the night before, on msn. We were having plan A and B in case the clouds decided it contain enough water and wanna pee.
Plan A - Meet at 9am at Tampines then head for Changi Village for breakfast then boat over to P.U.
Plan B (wet weather prog.) - Breakfast followed by KTV
While we're discussing, it seemed like we're hoping it would rain and we'll simply just go for KTV. Even Jerm brought jacket all prepared for wet weather programme.
All of us overslept except Jerm. So instead of gathering at 9am at Tampines, all were present only at abt 10am.
The sun was high up in the sky with occasional rain clouds hovering above Changi. But we still head to P.U. nonetheless.

We got off the bus and onto the boat within a couple of minutes. Everything was smooth!

We're amazed that bicycles are going at 2 buckeroos! Though Idy did told me before but I would expect the price to shoot up.
We walked from Jalan Ubin to Jalan Durian. So where is Chek Jawa?!?!?! I like the verse ALOT :)

we had to stop by anything that could leave us a memory
only to realise Jerm's expression didn't change here.
He tried to be the monkey among the girls.
We finally walked to the point of entry to Chek Jawa.

We're FINALLY near Chek Jawa!!!! After walking mud filled potholes (luckily not soggy kind), we're reaching!!!!!
No bicycles allowed and we're so proud we went by foot!

Jerm somehow got this superficial wound and it bled like mad. We insisted he put a plaster but he took it with a pinch of salt.

Saw this painting on and wall and we photowhored with it until Jermyn buay tahan us.
The good thing about walking to chek jawa by foot is that we're able to pay for a van to get u back to the jetty while the cyclist have to cycle through crazy slopes and gravels.
Chanced upon a mailbox and it was hippier than our normal white painted boring letter box. It's metallic and can treat it like mirror if you forget to bring one...hahaha

We took a train to town for KTV and saw this weird-and-a-lil-out-of-his-mind person on the train. I can't blame him because maybe he went through some trauma that caused him what he is today.
First, he flagged an oncoming train.
Then, he occupied 2 seats, one for his butt and another for his bag. We happen to have 4 seats opposite him and his actions were too loud for us not to pay attention. He kept mumbling things to himself.
After he took out his discman, Su Ling whispered to me, "I think he's going to start singing soon." Zhong toto also not so zun! He really started singing!!!!!!!!!!!! I was trying to make out what he's singing but really cannot man. He's too good at it. Su Ling managed to make out one song "Happy Birthday". He just got the quarter of the cabin staring at him. I cannot help but pity the ppl sitting beside him. Cus if I were them, I'd be rooted and lost also.
That aside, we ended up at Party World international building. Five of us were given a room enough for more than 10 person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dad saw he picture and say can sit 30 people..a lil exaggerating la but maybe that's in the past for him.
2 cordless mics, 2 remotes along with tamborine and the shaker thing. Each of us lie down on one sofa and do spa also can man!
