Bicycle Parking Bay
The Cyclist - Pei Mei, Su Ling, hi Mei, Yong Hui, Caroline, Jermyn and Yours Truly
I havent rode long distance for a loooooooooooong time (5 years plus I guess) and the last time I cycled in Vietnam, I almost collided with a motorcyclist all because I feel intimidated cycling among so many vehicles, bicycles and people. It was crazy. I wasn't sure if I could tahan.
The plan was to cycle from ECP to Changi. We have no idea of the distance. I only know we will keep moving our legs in circles and hold the bicycle tight until our hands go numb.
For a period of time, the sky did scare us with drizzles and we contemplated on heading back in case we get drenched. But because the momentum was there, we just kept going and going. Kilometer after kilometer tgt with my beautiful horrible 'gear music' which just cannot be solved. I swear our legs were aching so much that it went from pain to numb and just followed the momentum.
After about 2 hours+, we reached changi village. We sat down, ordered 100 plus and that's it!
WE CYCLED FOR A FREAKING 2 HOURS ODD AND ALL WE HAD WAS 100 PLUS!!!!!!! We even had the idea to have supper when we get to Changi but we were all exhausted from cycling. We simply needed water more than anything.
Then again, thanks to the Stand Chart marathon, we had to get our asses back to MacDonalds before they close the road and leave us stranded in some parks.
Going back was faster because we tried our best NOT to have any breaks. The stretch along the runway was the WORST. It was straight road all the way and it just seem neverending. I kept cursing and swearing just to alleviate the pain. Think we had a break or 2 and it's probably 2 to 3 scale down compared to our trip to changi.
I tot the plan was to cycle at a comfortable pace but thanks to the marathon la, I had to kill my knees, thigh and butt. I couldn't really walk properly for 2 days. Had a terrible time squatting. Sitting on the toilet bowl was the shiokest cus getting up was a nightmare.
We ended our gruelling cycling and walked like ducks to Macs for breakkie. And at ard 6.30 we saw many of the marathoners running by. Caroline had the tot of bringing her ice milo out to hao lian but drop that tot.
Went back to SM's place to grab bag and cabbed back with Pei Mei. Bathed and hit the sack at 8am.

Superwoman I am woke up at 12.30pm and went for movie with Ah Lee. Luckily meet in Vivo so quite shiokadoo. Watched Bolt and Beverly Hills Chihuahua. The latter is GOOD. I enjoyed the whole show despite the lack of sleep. But tried to keep myself awake for Bolt. Bolt is good also but the lethargic-ness is more overwhelming. Dinnered at Modesto's. Food's good and I think it's a damn good chill out place.
Ended the night with a very good sleep. More than 12 hours and it feels damn good!
Started the week with none other than 'labbing'. Went town for a couple of days just to walk. My memory seems to be failing. Can't really recall what else I did.
But I rem somewhere along the holiday, I met up with my honeybunny and honeybanana, Ah Lee and no more alrdy!!!!!!!!! Oh gosh, time's running out and I want to maximise my last holiday!
Calling for Sharon, Seck Sen, Sze Sze, Jason, WK, Edmund, Ray, WJ, Alicia, Peiling and more honeygirlies please!
