Our room...damn nice i tell you. Each of us had a personal fan cus the aircon will only be on in the evening. Other than the heat and baby cockroaches, everything was good! But I still slept in caution, kinda afraid the cockroaches will lay eggs in my ear.
The different karst formations we see on our way to the cave.
And then it was swimming time! All of us had a great deal of time in the water. We were all in life jackets cus buay zai la...dun wanna risk life. Only towards the end then threadwater but still I almost choke to death.
Bathed and slack on the deck. Weather wasnt that good for sunset and we tot we'd just wake up in time for sunrise but then again, it was very foggy.
We had dinner and chatted on the deck until everyone was sound asleep. I'm kinda missing that moment, where we just talk abt life and basically everything under the sun.
Day 4 - Kayaking in Lan Ha Bay; Lan Ha Bay to Cat Ba Island
Kayaking was damn shiok. 2 hours under the cloudy weather and seeing jellyfish swim beside ur kayak. We're simply inside nature!
The most happening thing that happened was this china couple's kayak capsizing. I saw how the kayak flipped and laughed. Sorry la but it was damn comical. I admit I'm bad to laugh but she 'kay kiang' ma so couldnt help it. I shared the kayak with Idy and we're the closest to them. Logically, we're suppose to save them but our swimming buay zai so if we also capsize then 'ho say' liao lor.
Weilun and Lixia's boat came in fast and tgt with this 2 British girls, they tried to help them drain the boat. Quite drama la cus our poor boy ended up falling and had lots of barnacles in his hand and a lil in his feet.
We ended up on a secluded beach for lunch. It was quite an experience because I never had meals this way.
Thereafter, we went cycling at Cat Ba National Park. 12km of cycling and many up and down slopes. The upslopes almost killed me! We cycled to a point where Lixia and I practicaly push the bike up.
Weilun hurt his hand so he rode the bike and we took turns to cycle. But hor, when he rode me, I kena all the straight road! So I went up whatever slopes u can find there la...super tiring!!!
This place is nice as in when you're surrounded by hills and water, u feel refreshed but the cycling part was crazy la!
On the way to Cat Ba Island...
We tried to look for a doctor because some stubborn barnacles are still stuck in lun's palm. The hotel recommended us Dr Uy. Lun insisted on going himself and the way he describe his experience was terrific! If only I was there, I would have taken a video.
