Maybe i shouldn't be so cruel to say him la huh...so blame on the large slab of lard on me.
I think my family is so full of rubbish but I'm loving it! Like how we could argue on pronouncing some words be it bombastic or simple word like maybe 'grand prix'. I will still pronouns it as 'grand prix' but the newsreader pronouns it and sound exactly line "GROIN PREE". Wa lao...i still ask my father is it grand prix or groin pree. Then he say, " nowadays people wanna sound professional so next time if you wanna call a girl name michelle, call her mee-chee-lee". So true man!!! In my 21 years of childhood, passing teenage years till now, the number of people pronouncing my name right can be counted with my pair of hands and legs. So infuriating at first but I've come to live with it already. The worse part was Mrs Raj, my sec sch teacher, who was suppose to be the best english teacher in sch, pronouns my name as KEE-REN. So wth lo...i think even a kid learning phonics would have pronouns it as car-rine.
I think children should just be named January, February, March, April, etc and this will not go wrong. At least they dun have to take the trouble to correct others.
Anyways, the main point of HOT HOT HOT!!!!! I think i'll die in hall tmr...maybe you'll get some honey roasted or black pepper caryn soon. Start ordering the flavour you want...
